"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, waste not a moment of this precious human birth without saying "Ramkrishnahari", the infallible link between man and his Maker, for it stills the mind and purges it of all impurities.
He says, practice the Name Worship of GOD to become a habit, for His Name is a Pure Ambrosia, a draught of it quenches all thirst.
He says, accumulate the riches of His Name, tasting it day and night, for not only will it make this rare human birth worthwhile but also countless yet to come.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the Name Worship GOD alone can annihilate the root cause of the repeated sufferings. We can either make ourselves miserable by chasing frivolous material pursuits or we can make this rare human birth fruitful by pursuing Self Quest, it is up to us what we chose."

He says, not remembering what he has lost, not worrying about what is in store for him and in being indifferent to what has befallen him presently, the Living Liberated displays total absence of egoistic preoccupations of the body, yet remains mutely engrossed in the sweetness of nectar called the Bliss of the Bramha.

He says, except the Name Worship of GOD, all other means to seek GOD Realisation need rigid adherence to discipline and austerity, which if not followed, may infict suffering than alleviating it. And therefore he suggests, no matter what may be the cause of the sufferings, the mindful remembrance of GOD Name "Narayan" is the True Panacea, for it wipes the Karmic Debris accumulating since time immemorial.

O'Mind, he says, go to the place where a Realised Soul dwells, for the repose experienced there is unparalleled.

He says, the ocean thunders with the pounding surf only till it meets the Great Sage Agasti who drank the entire ocean with his austerity and mystical powers.
He says, a big talk of Renunciation falters as soon as One sees a beautiful woman or bragging of bravery survives only till One comes across a battle worn warrior.

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, an animal skin can trade for money if the King approves, or a pet dog may get prominence, whom the King cuddles and is very fond of. Similarly Blessed is he whom GOD shields with His Grace."

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the True Renunciation unfolds only in the company of the Realised Souls, for in the light of their Wisdom One learns to be happy for no reason.
He says, the True Devotee is the One who has transcended the realm of Duality of ,'You', 'Me', 'Mine'.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, his body consciousness ceases when he dances in the profound devotional ecstasy of the Name Worship of GOD."

आम्हां तयाची संगती II
नाम धारियेलें कंठी I

अणुरेणुयां धाकुटे II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, we are absorbed in  Him whose glory is praised by the Vedic Scriptures since time immemorial. The Name Worship of GOD is in our tongue of thought and our heart overflows with joy and His Love.
He says, just like the solemn and sacred exclamation 'Omkar, the sound incarnation of the Supreme Truth, we hold onto the All Pervading Eternal Essence though His Name Worship, for He is smaller than the smallest and greater than the greatest."

प्रेम न ये सांगतां बोलतां दवितां I
अनुभव चित्ता चित्त जाणे II
कासवीचे बाळ वाढे कृपादृष्टी I
दुधा नाही भेटी अंगसंगे II
पोटामध्ये कोणे सांगितले सर्पा I
उपजत लपा म्हनऊनि II
बोलो नेणे परी जाणे गोड क्षार I
अंतरी विचार त्यासी ठावा II
तुका म्हणे बरे विचारावे मनीं I
आणिक भल्यांनी पुसो नये II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the longing for GOD is a heartfelt sense which words cannot describe and which cannot be pinpointed, for the True Experience is a manifestation of what remains ingrained deep within.
Illustrating with beautiful analogies he says, this sense is like the assurance the young turtle feels, of being taken care of by its mother, even if she doesn't nurse her young, or it is like the innate sense the newborn snakes have, to remain hidden as soon as they are born.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, just like sweetness of sugar cannot be described but sensed, so is the longing for GOD which is to be experienced, like the sense that makes a speechless man discriminate the taste of what he is eating without articulating it."

लौकिकासाठी या पसाऱ्याचा गोवा I
कांही नाही देवा लागो येत II
ठेवावा माथा तो नुचलावा पायी I
ठायींचिये ठायी हालो नये II
ढवळील्या मने वितूळेल रूप I
नांव ऐसे पाप उपाधीचे II
तुका म्हणे देव प्रीतीने कवळी I
ठेवील जवळी उठवूनि II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, no matter what spectacle we make of His Worship, GOD adores the One who takes shelter at His Feet or in other words the One who seeks Him with One Pointed Devotion.
He says, beware of the mind conditioned by ritualistic paraphernalia, for it  sways the mind away from GOD.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, GOD yearns for those who yearn to becoming His and  His alone."
