माझिया मनाची बैसली आवडी I
अवसान घडी एकी नेघे II
पाय चित्ती रूप डोळांची बैसले I
चिंतने गोविले मुख सदा II
अवघियांचा झाला विसर हा मागे I
वेध हा श्रीरंगे लावियेला II
तुका म्हणे कानी आईकिली मात I
तोचि झाला घात जीवपणा II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the restlessness of his soul is but a glimpse of his longing for GOD.
He says, blessed by eyes that behold Him, and His Feet ever engraved in his heart, he remains absorbed in the Name Worship of GOD Shriranga, thus living in the world but not of the world.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the glory of the Formless reiterated by countless since time immemorial ceased his 'I-ness' forever."
