"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj  implores One to bathe his soul in the colour of Truth that says, "I am the body" idea is That Which Is Not. He says, just like colours of a butterfly change vibrantly, One needs a conscious effort to keep at bay the alluring enticements of "I am the body" idea.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the body with which we mistakenly identify ourselves is bound to perish, for the moment One is born begins the countdown to death. He says, the ignorance of "I am the body" idea makes One forget that wealth, family and all that One calls as "his" matter nothing at the end, for he is born alone and must depart alone.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, we are never alone, for GOD is our constant companion since time immemorial. He says, the secret of discovering GOD is spending time with Him and nothing could be better if One remains absorbed in the Name Worship of GOD Vitthal, for GOD always gives His best to those who leave the choice with Him."
