नव्हतो सावचित्त I
तेणे अंतरले हित II
पडिला नामाचा विसर I
वाढविला संसार II
लटिक्याचे पुरी I
वाहोनिया गेली दुरी II
तुका म्हणे नाव I
आम्हां सापडला भाव II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, his being not heedful of the Name Worship of GOD became an impediment on his Self Quest, for rare is the One who fondly remembers Him, remaining in the world but not of the world.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, our worldly living is like a  torrent of floodwater that sweeps away everything in its path. He is sure of sailing across it by riding a boat with his belief that, "Yes, GOD Is" at the helm."
