"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, futile is to waste this rare human birth chasing frivolous material pursuits, for the worldly riches become no more than dust as soon as One succumbs to death. The root cause of sufferings is our attachment to the material wealth which corrupts our process of reasoning.
He says, no matter how much One tries to keep the sufferings at bay, there is no way out, for the debts from the past lives can be exhausted only by being experienced. These are the circumstances which we are destined to experience in our present lifetime due to some of our actions in our past lives, just like an arrow shot by the Archer over which he has no control as soon as it has left his hands.
Nevertheless One thing is sure he says, that whatever situation we are in, GOD has put us there for a reason, for a lesson, and most importantly for a purpose, for we may never understand His Wisdom but we simply have to trust His Will.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, while no material riches can accompany a dying man after his last breath, the self effort on the journey of GOD Realisation do not go in vain, for these eternal riches accompany One even after his death."
