"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, GOD Narayan, the All Pervading, and Eternal Essence persists in all its splendour behind the apparent plurality of this manifold universe. So propound the Vedic Scriptures since time immemorial and also the Realised Souls who see GOD here, and there, and everywhere, in the heights and in the depths, in the darkness and in light, filling all the starlit places and in the heart of all beings.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, just like purity of Sun is not impaired by the thing on which its rays fall, this universe is a Divine Play which unfolds by the Will of GOD who plays, yet unplays."

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj talks about Repentence as a privilege, not a burden.
He says, the feeling of Repentence for doing something bad must not be short lived like an elephant, which after bath rolls in the mud and gets dirty again.
He says, the True Repentance, the most positive thing we can do in our lives, comes from the acceptance that "Yes, I have done something which I should not have done", is the act of turning to GOD with all our hearts and not just our mouths and turning away from all the wrongdoings as we realise their foulness.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the Sublime act of Repentance which invigorates and cleanses the mind from within closes the gap between us and GOD that is created by our wrongdoings."

Illustrating with beautiful analogy he says, the discourse about Self Quest, without becoming One with the True Self, is just like willfully telling of a lie by taking a bribe."

Sant Tukaram Maharaj condemns the pretender who claims the virtue, but lacks it the most."

And therefore he says, remain absorbed in the Name Worship of GOD Narayan and eventually you will transcend the ocean of repeated sufferings forever.
He says, practice the Name Worship of GOD so that it happens with Ease, for then no place will remain within for any Dis- ease.
He says, chanting GOD Name 'Narayan', the Grace of GOD pours from within and One moves a step ahead towards the Supreme Bliss of Liberation.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, waste not the precious moments of this rare human birth without the Name Worship of GOD, for Self Realisation dawned on the countless who practiced it with pointedly conscious thought, since time immemorial."

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the Realised Souls see GOD in us and therefore worship Him through us, just like when the Linga of GOD Shiva is worshipped, it reaches Him, and not to the clay of which it is made of, for Clay is not Him. And therefore he aspires the company of Realised Souls rather than becoming One.
Similarly the worship of stone idol of GOD Vishnu is the worship of the Supreme Essence and not of the stone, for stone is not Him or when the metal idol of Goddess Jagadamba is worshipped, it is the Essence that is worshipped, for the metal doesn't become the Goddess.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, True Devotion is like the water strained from boiled rice that rejuvenates. And therefore he says, worship GOD by being True to Self and with a belief that " Yes, He is", for it reaches Him, as the Essence seeks itself."

This composition of Sant Tukaram Maharaj is about his aspiration to be in the company of Realised Soul incessantly.
He says, he wants to become the loose stones or a dust on the path of Holy Pandharpur, so that he can touch the Feet of the Realised Soul who treads upon it.
O'GOD, he says, I seek from you nothing but a constant reminder of the Realised Soul, the fountainhead of perennial happiness, for it makes my fears and afflictions disappear.
He says, let me become the footwear of a Realised Soul or his pet so that his mere nearness will enlighten me.
He says, he wants to become the waters of river Ganga or of a Brook or of a well so that he will have opportunity to touch the Feet of the Self Realised Soul when he walks by them.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj implores GOD to let the  remembrance of the Feet of Realised Soul abide in his mind constantly, for his Feet are the helmsmen to ferry us across the ocean of repeated sufferings forever."

He says, Realising GOD Krishna is like wearing His quilt, for Oneness has bestowed him an appearance as enthralling as GOD Krishna is to His playmates.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, just like the disguise speaks and not the One who wears it, the Oneness makes him sit idle and witness the Divine Play unfolding all around him.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, nothing goes in vain for the One whom GOD bestows such Blessed Disguise."

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, waste not the precious moments of this rare human birth in the worldly cacophony, for your countdown to death has begun from the moment you are born.
He says, there is nothing certain, but the uncertain and that is our life. And therefore do not waste these precious breaths of today without the Name Worship of GOD, for death will not spare you, nor allow you even a moment more with your loved ones when your time is up.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the Name Worship of GOD will save you from the wrath of GOD of Death when he will weigh your virtues and vices in your earthly life and accordingly inflict the punishment, because reciting the Holy 'RamNam' and wrongdoings do not go together.
He says, regardless of being loved by family and friends, a man is all alone is his rendezvous with death. The loved ones who accompany the body on its final journey are well aware of who is dead and who is alive. And therefore he insists to practice the Name Worship of GOD as much as possible and do not say, 'there is still time', before it is too late."

It is like One has earned riches through hardwork while someone is born in a wealthy household.
He says, only an unwise will call a Sandalwood disinct from its Fragrance, for they are inseparable.

In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, he was enlightened in the company of the Wise just like a lowly tree in the vicinity of a Sandalwood emanates fragrance.
He says, he feels delighted to have taken refuge at the feet of the Wise, who accept him as he is, along with his inconsistencies and his inferior cast, for only the Mighty can make Pauper a King."

II श्रीराम जय राम जय जय राम II

सर्वस्वाची साटी I

In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, we all have desires, but in the end these desires make us. He says, seek GOD by making His worship as a ladder to fulfill a desire and you get what you aim for but not Him. On the other hand GOD reveals when One seeks Him Selflessly and Unconditionally. And therefore Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, worship GOD for nothing but His love, for there is no greater act of worship than giving GOD all of you.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, His realisation remains no distant dream for the blessed who leaves behind the burden of 'Me' and 'Mine', and gives himself to GOD wholeheartedly, for GOD is ready to assume full responsibility for the life fully yielded to Him."
