संतांनी सरता केलों तैशापरी I
चंदने ते बोरी व्यापीयेली II
गुणदोषयाती न विचारी कांही I
ठाव दिला पायी आपुलिया II
तुका म्हणे आले समर्थाच्या मना I
तरि हाये राणा रंक त्याचा II

In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, he was enlightened in the company of the Wise just like a lowly tree in the vicinity of a Sandalwood emanates fragrance.
He says, he feels delighted to have taken refuge at the feet of the Wise, who accept him as he is, along with his inconsistencies and his inferior cast, for only the Mighty can make Pauper a King."
