शिकल्या बोलाचे सांगतील वाद I
अनुभव भेद नाही कोणा II
पंडित हे ज्ञानी करितील कथा I
न मिळती अर्था निजसुखा II
तुका म्हणे जैसी लाचासाठी ग्वाही I
देतील हे ठावी नाही वस्तू II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, translation is not about words. It's about what the words are about. But exactly opposite happens when, being devoid of experience, One spends more time on the translation of the Scriptures rather than understanding its very Essence,
Illustrating with beautiful analogy he says, the discourse about Self Quest, without becoming One with the True Self, is just like willfully telling of a lie by taking a bribe."
