"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, taking life for granted could be the greatest of blunder, for everything can change in the blink of an eye. Death that often surprises spares neither King nor beggar, for it comes to all and smites them. And therefore let "RamNam" be in your tongue of thought all the time before it is too late.
He says, 'Hari Naam' is the panacea of greatest of all ills, the repeated sufferings of death and rebirths.
He says, no one is yet born so mighty to have overwhelmed death except those who remain absorbed in "RamNam", for only they go beyond the realm of repeated sufferings once and for all.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the only way to make this rare human birth worthwhile is the Name Worship of Lord Vitthal, for those who do it regret not and those who choose to be ignorant of ignorance have no excuse but to continue their ceaseless repetition of deaths and rebirths."
