परिस काय धातू सोने न करीतू I

फेडीतो निभ्रांतु लोहपांगु II

काय तयाहूनी झालासी बापुडे I

फेडीतां सांकडे माझे एक II

कल्पतरू कोड पुरवितो रोकडा I

चिंतामणी खडा चिंतिले ते II

चंदनाच्या वासे वसतां चंदन I

होती काष्ठ आन वृक्षयाति II

काय त्यांचे उणे झाले त्यांसी देतां I

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, just like a Paras Stone uplifts an ordinary metal to preciousness, uplift me O'Lord from the poverty of my ignorance.

He says, just like the Wish Fulfilling Divine Tree Kalpataru or Precious Chintamani Stone hesitate not giving what One aspires from them, bestow upon me Your Grace O'Lord, for even the lowly trees in the vicinity of Sandalwood become fragrant."
