"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj talks about the paramount importance of Bhava or Ecstatic Emotion in devotion. He says, the intense feeling that "Yes, GOD Is", is Supreme in devotion. And therefore more than the elaborate ritualistic offerings of any kind, even a morsel of food, but offered with a loving devotion by a devotee, is more precious to GOD Krishna, who adores it most.
He says, GOD fools all those who forbid the offering of partially eaten food to Him and eats the half eaten food of His devotee.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the Supreme Indweller of Infinite Manifestations dwells not in the outward conformity to religious rituals, but rather in the longing with which the devotee seeks Him."
