नामाविण नाही गोठी II
गीता जेणें उपदेशिली I

तुका म्हणे सार धरी I
वाचे हरिनाम उच्चारी II
"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, One must remain absorbed in "Ram Nam", for even the Vedic Scriptures propound it, times without number. He says, all acts of devotion and charity count for nothing, for "Ram Nam" far transcends all acts of piety and charity.
He says, the Puranas or the ancient texts eulogizing Gods through divine stories are deeply rooted to "Ram Nam".
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, GOD Shrikrishna whose words of wisdom to Arjuna changed the course of Great War of Mahabharat, is standing arms akimbo on a brick in Pandharpur. The only thing One needs to pursue consciously is the Name Worship of GOD Panduranga, for it is the only way he can transcend Darkness to Light, Untruth to Truth and Death to Immortality."
