"It is said that "Worship is adoring contemplation of GOD."
The Supreme Essence is all pervading in each individual and is yet hidden and unfelt. It is manifested through Holy Ram Nam. GOD is in the soul and the soul is in GOD, as the sea is in the fish and the fish is in the sea.
In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj talks about Contemplation, being a process happening involuntarily, just like the journey of water of Ganges River into the ocean is happening without pause since time immemorial. He says, for One who remains absorbed in Holy Ram Nam, his body performs duties but his mind remains deployed only in Contemplation of GOD. In a way Contemplation helps One to become detached from "I am the body" idea slowly but steadily.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, Sanchit Karma is a warehouse containing the totality of all actions accumulated in an individual's past lives, including all good and bad actions. Everything we do in our present life keeps accumulating in this storehouse. However this incessant process can stall if One does everything in his present life assuming GOD, and not he, as the Doer. As soon as the Doership shifts, One becomes free from the ownership of his actions and hence accumulation of these actions in storehouse of Sanchit Karma is thwarted. Only when the bucket of Sanchit Karma will empty, the door to Liberation will unlock.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, refuge at the Lotus Feet of Lord Pandurang takes One to the abode of desirelessness, for what we plant in the soil of contemplation, we shall reap in the harvest of action.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, our body is the merchant's storehouse and has in it the Holy Ram Nam as wares. A rare buyer may get it only by GOD's Grace."
