करावी ते पूजा मनेचि उत्तम I
लौकिकाचे काम काय असे II
कळावे तयासि कळे अंतरींचे I
कारण ते साचे साचा अंगी II
अतिशयाअंती लाभ किंवा घात I
फळ देते चित्त बीजा ऐसे II
तुका म्हणे जेणें राहे समाधान I
ऐसे ते भजन पार पावी II

"GOD is a Spirit and hence worshipping Him in Spirit is the only way to seek Him. In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj talks about the Mental Worship of GOD. He says, seeing GOD'S HAND is everything is His True Worship. The true purpose of worship is to become One with GOD which is possible only when One makes a conscious effort to lessen the grip of his false ego sense. However often the opposite happens with stringent ritualistic practices where personal gains and self proclamation get precedence, spoiling the true goal of worship.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, as GOD dwells within, it is the Mental Worship or Intuitive Worship which is the most sublime, for it purifies the mind by destroying all the ignorance completely. He says, everything depends on the mindset of the devotee, for all the flowers of all the tomorrows are in the seeds of today.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, only through Name Worship of GOD, One becomes absorbed in the intuitive peace and poise, for GOD hears every silent prayer of a sincere heart."
