It is said that "Unless One always Speaks the Truth, One cannot find GOD who is the soul of Truth "
In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj talks about  the paramount importance of Speaking Truth on the journey of Self Realisation. He says, the tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it, eat it's fruit. There is One whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the Wise brings healing.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, since GOD alone is Truth, the easiest way to seek Him is to Speak Truth which does not cost anything, yet man tries everything else but Speaking Truth, to seek Him.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, speaking a lie is but acknowledging the illusion, and becoming One with GOD is not possible unless One does a conscious effort to break free from the illusory entrapment, for only Truth or GOD can instill absolute tranquility of mind from within. "
