"We are not our body, we are not our mind, we are Pure Consciousness and Awareness. When you start from there, you begin to have real conversations, the conversation within."
True happiness is an inner quality. It is a state of mind.
In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj talks about True happiness which comes from having a sense of inner peace and contentment, which can be attained by consciously cultivating altruism, love and compassion, and by eliminating anger, selfishness and greed. He says, every birth is a result of fruits of our actions in all our past lives. Prarabdha is a part of that accumulation which has to be compulsorily experienced in every birth without discrimination. Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, Karma or Act is associated with physical body and accordingly we all must inevitably endure the physical sufferings and challenges of this earthly life. It is then worthless to let our mind dwell and lament on the Prarabdha which is bound to follow it's course in this bodily existence inevitably.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, doing everything assuming that only GOD is the Doer, is the only way to remain untouched by the result of One's actions, good or bad. This is the only way to halt the constant replenishing of the warehouse, which contains the accumulated results of our actions in past lives, slowly but steadily, for Liberation happens only when this warehouse becomes empty.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, True Happiness is neither without us nor within us. It is in GOD. When we put ourselves in GOD'S HANDS, He puts His peace in our hearts."
