धीर नव्हे मने I
काय तयापाशी उणे II
भार घातलियावरी I
दासां नुपेक्षील हरी II
याची ऐसी आटी I
द्यावी द्रव्याचिये साटी II
तुका म्हणे पोटे I
देवा बहु केले खोटे II

It is said that "GOD has perfect timing, never early, never late. It takes little Patience and it takes a lot of Faith. But it's worth the wait."
In this composition Sant Tukaram says, GOD blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptations, for only they are rewarded by His Grace. He says, when we entrust ourselves into GOD'S tender care and mercies, the prayer from deep within causes miracles.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, yesterday is gone, tomorrow has not yet come and we have only today. And hence to make this rare human birth worthwhile as a conduit to Self Realisation, One must consciously do efforts with the zest similar to those needed to survive in this world.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the longing for GOD comes only when One makes a conscious effort to become free from the bondage of "I am the body" idea, for GOD always remains a myth for slaves of desires."
