सांगतसे हा गे अनुभव II

Spontaneity is an instinctive reaction. It can neither be duped nor pretended, it just happens. In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj has elucidated this thought. He says, instinctive reactions take their natural course without conscious thought.
Illustrating with beautiful analogies he says, a cow runs after her young calf by the maternal impulse to protect her young, for mothers love knows no boundaries. She doesn't have to be taught to do so. It happens instinctively. However on the other hand, as soon as the young calf grows older, there is a drastic change in her instinctive reactions. The cattle keeps  the older calf away from her and even if the older calf is forced to her udder, she kicks him away with intense disgust and revulsion. This marked change in her attitude towards her calf comes from within as a natural course and without a conscious thought.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, instinctive reaction is not a thing of solicitation, for experience always speaks for itself."
