न चलवे पंथ वचन नसतां पालवी I

शरीर विटंबिले वाटे भीक मागावी II

न करी रे तैसे आपआपणां I

नित्य राम राम तुम्ही सकळ म्हणां II

राम म्हणवितां रांडा पोरे निरविशी I

पडशी यमाहाती जाचविती चौऱ्यांशी II

मुखी नाही राम तोही आत्महत्यारा I

तुका म्हणे लाज नाही तया गव्हारा II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, walking down the path of life absorbed in "RamNam" is the way to put stop to the repeated sufferings of death and rebirth once and for all.

He says, let the attachment to the loved ones not become an excuse for  not saying "RamNam", for in the end you will be all alone on the funeral pyre.

Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, reluctance of saying "RamNam"is no less than dead while living."
