"The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself."
And the most prudent way to do it is putting up with other people's shortcomings, for the One who cannot do it becomes unfit to walk on the path of his Self Quest or GOD Realisation. In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, all beings have in them the three attributes of Sattva, Raja and Tama in varying proportions, but one thing is common and that is GOD, who indwells them all. Blessed is the One who sees the Eternal Essence that pervades all and not their individual mental makeups.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, for man to find fault with his fellow man is to find fault with GOD, the Ever Faultless. He says, courageous is the One who consciously refrains from fault finding, for the journey of Self Realisation is only for those who dare to change themselves."
