"Only man is endowed with the ability to discern right from wrong and hence act wisely on the basis of this unique sense of discrimination. In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj insists to awaken the sense of discrimination inherent in us and constantly identify with it, for only then we can live with awareness of what is ephemeral and what is eternal.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, everything in the illusory world consists of three Gunas or qualities Sattva, Raja and Tama and our body is no exception to it. The interplay of these qualities manifests as universe. He says, doing everything assuming GOD is the Doer is nothing but consciously cultivating the Sattva Guna by which we make choices in life that elevate awareness and foster unselfish joy.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, unless One discriminates between the Soul and worldly life or Truth and Falsehood, there is all possibility of wasting this rare human birth chasing material pursuits instead of seeking Liberation."
