धनवंत एक बहिरट अंधळे I

शुभ्र कुष्ट काळे भोग अंगी II

प्रारब्धाची गति न कळे विचित्र I

आहे हाती सूत्र विठोबाचे II

आणीक रोगांची नांवे सांगू किती I

अखंड असती जडोनिया II

तुका म्हणे नष्ट संचिताचे दान I

पावे खातां पण सुख नेदी II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, wealthy who are blind or deaf or have unsightly marks on their skin is all a play of fate, for we are all marionettes with string in the hands of Lord Vithoba. 

He says, the sufferings can be from among the countless of such afflictions. 

He says, to be born rich is a fate and not being able to enjoy the riches because of the maladies is also a fate, for One may get it but may not have it."
