II श्रीराम जय राम जय जय राम II

जातीचे ते चढे प्रेम I

पक्षी स्मरे राम राम II

ते काय गुण लागतां येरां I

कागा शोभे न पिंजरा II

शिकविले ते सुजात सोसी I

मग मोल चढे त्यासी II

तुका म्हणे वेषधारी I

हिजड्या न होती त्या नारी II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, only that which is inherently good quickly grasps goodness and becomes precious.

 Illustrating with beautiful analogy he says, a crow cannot be taught to imitate "Ram Ram" and neither it is pleasant to look at  crow behind the bars in a cage like a parrot.

In another analogy he says, a transgender  may dress like a woman but is not a woman."
