जिचे पिडे बाळ I

प्राण तियेचा विकळ II

ऐसा मातेचा स्वभाव I

सूत्र दोरी एक जीव II

सुखाची विश्रांती I

उमटे मातेंचिया चित्ती II

तुका म्हणे संत I

तुम्ही बहू कृपावंत II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, loving heart of Sant is like mother's love for her child.

He says, the well being of mother and that of her child are entwined just like the strands of thread once twined remain twined in Oneness, no matter how many times One tries to straighten them out.

Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, just like there is no greater comfort to mother than seeing her child relieved from suffering, so is the kindness of Sant that encompasses the world entire."
