ज्यासी आवडी हरिनामाची I

तोचि एक बहू शुचि II

जपतो हरिनाम बीज I

तोचि वर्णमाजी द्विज II

तुका म्हणे वर्म धर्म I

अवघे आहे सम ब्रम्ह II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, truly holy is the One who leaves aside all else and engages in 'Hari Naam' alone fondly.

He says, by Vedic Scriptures One who delves deep into the very essence of the world entire is Brahmin. And therefore he says, anyone who remains absorbed in 'Hari Naam" sleeping or awake, sitting or standing but ever at his post within is the true Brahmin, for the genesis of the Vedic Scriptures as well as 'Hari Naam' is Lord Hari."
