"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the ancient manuscripts are propounding since time immemorial the greatness of 'Hari Naam', a gateway to Liberation from the repeated sufferings to the naive, who remains ignorant of his ignorance.

He says, One has to bear the fruits of his actions, sweet or bitter, whether he may like it or not. The present may be determined by the past but the future is our own, for One who remains absorbed in 'Hari Naam' hardly repents. The history is replete with examples he says, where 'Hari Naam' transformed the most infamous into the highly venerated."
