सांगावे ते बरे असते हे पोटी I

दुःख देते खोटी बुद्धी मग II

आपला आपण करावा वेव्हार I

जिंकोनि अंतर मन ग्वाही II

नाही मागे येत बोलिले वचन I

पावावा तो सीण बरा मग II

तुका म्हणे बहू भ्यालो खटपटे I

आतां देवा खोटे शब्द पुरे II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, never be afraid to speak your mind to GOD or Spiritual Guide or loved ones without inhibitions, for not doing so unnecessarily invites sufferings.

He says, purity of speech, of the mind, of the senses and a compassionate heart awakens the inner observer or listener, aware of itself and what is going on, without being affected by it.

He says, just like an arrow fired from a bow leaves an indelible mark where it strikes, the words spoken with malice don't come back but do the irreparable damage.

Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, let the words I speak be only Your Name Worship, for no words can please all, all the time."
