क्या मेरे राम कवन सुख सारा I
कहकर दे पूछु दास तुम्हारा II
तनजोबनकी कोन बराई I
व्याधिपीडा दिस काटही खाई II
कीर्त बधाउं तो नाम न मेरा I
काहे झुटा पछताउं घेरा II
कहे तुका नहि समजत मात I
तुम्हारे शरन हे जोडत हात II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, I will become your slave forever if you show me anything other than GOD which gives True Happiness.
He says, don't say that happiness is congruent with youth, for disease spares none.
He says, don't get carried away by glory and fame, for seeking happiness from the ephemeral is nothing but inviting the repeated sufferings forever.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, I beg of you to wake up from the slumber of ignorance before it is too late and do the needful, for nothing but absorbing in the "Ram Naam" is the crowning fruition of all endeavors and a gateway to True Happiness."
