विठ्ठल सोयरा सज्जन सांगाती I
विठ्ठल हा चित्ती बैसलासे II
विठ्ठले हे अंग व्यापिली हे काया I
विठ्ठल हे छाया माझी मज II
बैसला विठ्ठल जिव्हेचिया माथां I
न वदे अन्यथा आन दुजे II
सकळ इंद्रियां मन हे प्रधान I
तेंही करी ध्यान विठोबाचे II
तुका म्हणे या हो विठ्ठलासीं आता I
नये विसंबतां माझे मज II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj describes his experience of becoming One with GOD Vitthal, his Most Beloved.
He says, GOD Vitthal dwells in my heart and having enveloped my whole being with His Grace, even my shadow now appears to me as Him.
He says, mind, the greatest of all senses is engrossed in His contemplation and therefore my tongue knows nothing but the Name Worship of GOD Vitthal.
Summing up Sant tukaram Maharaj says, for the journey to become One with Him, knowing "GOD is Love" is not enough, we must practice this Love."
