कोठे पुढे नाही घ्यावया I
विसांवा फिरोनियां गांवा आल्याविण II
विनावितां दिवस बहुत लागती I
म्हणूनियां चित्ती देव धरा II
धरा पाय तुम्ही संतांचे जीवेसी I
वियोग तयासी देव नाही II
नाही चाड देवा आणीक सुखाची I
आवडी नामाची त्याची तया II
"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the rare human birth is the Abode of Solace to the soul tormented by repeated sufferings through countless species. And therefore he says, waste not a moment of this rare human birth without the Name Worship of GOD or fall at the Feet of the Spiritually Wise right in earnest, for the opportunity does not waste time with those who are unprepared.
Elucidating the beautiful relation between GOD and the Spiritually Wise who is absorbed in His Name Worship, Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, nothing grows brighter than the heart awakened to the light of love that lives within it."
