निष्ठुर तो दिसे निराकारपणे I
कोवळा सगुणे प्रतिपाळी II
केलाच करावा केला कईवाङ I
होईल ते गोड न परते II
मथिलिया लागे नवनीत हातां I
नासे वितळीता आहाच ते II
तुका म्हणे आता मनाशी विचार I
करावा तो सार एकचित्ते II
"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, GOD in Form appears to be reachable and attainable as compared to imagining Him as Formless. And hence its One's personal choice, how he wishes to seek GOD, for nothing but Oneness of path is paramount to merge into Supreme Oneness.
Illustrating with meaningful analogy Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the butter formed by churning out a curd needs to be separated, else it will dissolve back again if One doesn't stop churning after butter is formed. Similarly One must adhere to his path of seeking GOD, be it worshipping Him in Form or worshipping Him as Formless steadfastly, to attain Self Realisation, the true purpose of his rare human birth."
