निंबाचिया झाडा साकरेचे आळे I
आपुली ती फळे न संडीच II
तैसे अधमाचे अमंगळ चित्त I
वमन ते हित करुनि सांडी II
परिसाचे अंगी लाविले खापर I
पालट अंतर नेघे त्याचे II
तुका म्हणे वेळू चंदनासंगती I
काय ते असती जवळीके II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, for the wisdom of a Saint to make impact, the listener needs a mindset conducive to Spiritual Enhancement. He says, no matter how much the Spiritually Wise try to make a man aware of his ignorance about the true purpose of his rare human birth, nothing sinks in. Illustrating this with beautiful analogy Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the mindset of an ignorant man is like the leaves of neem tree which have very bitter taste, for nothing can take it away even if sugarcane is cultivated in its vicinity.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, a.Mythical Divine Touchstone transmutes iron into gold but is unable to change a piece of broken pot into the precious metal.
He says, mere vicinity of a Sandalwood Tree doesn't make a wild creeper fragrant.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, GOD doesn't deem One to be lucky or unlucky, his mindset does."
