"When One looks in the mirror he sees himself in it. This apparent Two-ness is however not true. The Eternal Reality is One and the Two-ness is but the illusion created byCosmic Dance of Maya, the Mistress of Illusion, which makes One believe, in that which is not. In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj has elucidated this thought.
He says, if there is nothing but an all pervading GOD everywhere then understanding the Illusion of Duality seems to be difficult to comprehend, yet it appears to be so real and so happening.
Illustrating with beautiful analogy Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, when a baby is born, the baby's Individual Consciousness seems to separate from his mother's Consciousness, while both are inherent part of the GOD Consciosness. Though we see mother and baby as two separate individuals, it is but an illusion created by our perception, distorted by the veil of ignorance, so that we see Two-ness in the Indivisible Eternal Oneness.
In another analogy he says, the Two-ness of One who suffers and One who makes him suffer is equally perplexing when we know that Duality is the polluted perception born from our ignorance.
He says, it will be improper to say that GOD created this world because then it will be again the Two-ness, of the Creation and its Creator, which contradicts with Oneness of the all encompassing GOD, for there is only the Eternal Supreme Essence pulsating in itself, so that GOD is Creation and Creation is GOD.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, only when we make a conscious effort to dispel the cloud of ignorance that distorts our vision, we can be free from the bondage of Duality, for Self Realisation will unfold only when One transcends all Duality."
