"It is said that "True Silence is going deep within yourself to that place where nothing is happening, where you transcend time and space and you go into a brand new dimension of nothingness. Only in the stillness of the mind can One see himself as he is ...Unbound."
In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj talks about a Self Realised Soul who has transcended duality and is free from the bondage of "I am the body" idea. These Awakened Beings do not talk much, for their intuition works through reason. On the other hand One who boasts of spiritual wiseness may hypnotise the odiences temporarily with wordly embellishments but empty words devoid of Knowledge sound hollow.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj has illustrated with beautiful analogy. He says, in making of Clarified Butter (तूप), the crackling sound is indicative of milk solids separating from butter. Here the crackling sound is just like pompous display of a person making a big talk. Just like a Pure Clarified Butter emerges when the crackling sound stops, so is the Self Realised Soul, who on his journey within, is free from any pretentions and doesn't need any boastful display.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, the thing always happens that you really believe in, and a belief in a thing makes it happen. One is always naturally inclined to do things which he likes most.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, to be a seeker on a journey of Self Realisation is a boon, for it makes One constantly vigilant of Self which is in a way a constant cleansing of mind from within. He says, "Be Silent, only the Hand of GOD can remove the burdens of your heart."
