तरुवरा आधी कोठे आहे फळ I
चावटा बरळ म्हणा त्यासी II

It is said that,
" When you commit to the process, never giving up, overcoming setbacks and obstacles, a powerful metamorphosis happens. You literally transform in the process."
In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj talks about people who just want the prize without realizing how valuable and powerful the transformation is, which is only possible from taking the hard way around. He says, Self Realisation is a process in which, even if man fails again and again to accomplish his purpose, the strength of character gained is the measure of his true happiness. There is only one way to move on the path of Self Discovery and it is " Embrace the process."
Illustrating with beautiful analogies, Sant Tukaram Maharaj says,
Just like cooking rice is more than just taking an uncooked rice in a pot, unless One nurtures good faith from deep within, his words will not have a touch of affection.
In another analogy he says, a tree yields fruits as long as you are watering it and so is Liberation which will not happen unless One makes a conscious effort to transcend beyond the Body Consciousness. Mindless babbling of Spirituality is but an aimless wandering.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says that wheat being the main ingredient of many delicacies, One must follow the process of their making with diligence to make them tasty. Serving wheat grains will serve no purpose.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says,
Most people never even give themselves a chance. They don't fail to succeed, rather they fail to even make an effort to succeed. The journey of Self Realisation is all about knocking persistently and endlessly so that eventually the Door to our True Self will open."
