" It is said that " the Spiritually Wise is the repository of only good qualities. Hence only goodness prevails in his vicinage. Those who follow his footsteps become fertile fields in which good virtues and noble thoughts flourish. In other words the Spiritually Awakened Soul makes One realise that man himself is the architect of his own destiny. "
In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj insists One to keep the company of such Pure Soul, to be showered by Divine Love emanating from him incesssantly. He says,
The aroma of Sandalwood is so divine that the lowly tree growing in its vicinity also absorbs its fragrance. Similarly in association with the Spirituality Awakened Soul, a lowly conditioned individual is raised beyond Body Consciousness into the Divine Consciousness. In His Holy company, One finds the energy, understanding and persistence to liberate himself from the false ego sense which clouds his judgement.
Illustrating with beautiful analogy Sant Tukaram Maharaj says that just like few words of saviour help the drowning man to hold his resolve, entrusting the spiritual journey in the hands of the Spiritual Master gives One the conviction that he is in safe hands.
In another analogy Sant Tukaram Maharaj says that just like a promise of catering food to the hungry man makes a miracle of inculcating instant contentment in him, the mere thought of being with the Spiritually Wise instills confidence in the seeker on his journey to Self Realisation.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says that he remains indebted forever to such Godly Beings for steering the seeker to his True Source. He says it is impossible to comprehend the great service the Spiritually Awakened Soul does to the mankind. He bows to them with reverence and says that his any words of gratitude will be as inadequate as offering a crystal of glass in exchange of a precious stone. "
