हेचि धर्म आम्हां भाविकांचे हाती I

" Life itself is not the goal. It is nothing but journey of realising the True nature of Self that pervades everything and everywhere equally. A 'rare' few pursue life as a great spiritual adventure, a journey within, consciously. A tree is hidden in seed. But in itself the seed is not enough. One needs to put efforts for the seed to sprout and become a tree. Similarly the seed of Supreme Self must be consciously nurtured to bloom into the all enveloping tree of Self Realisation. In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj urges us to understand and appreciate the ephemeral nature of worldly existence and then proceed consciously to strive for Eternal Supreme Bliss. He says One must make a conscious effort to make most of this rarest of rare human birth, as it is the unique opportunity to our appointment with the Lord Supreme.
Illustrating with beautiful analogies he says,
The livestock is raised to produce milk. The Ghee or clarified butter is formed from it like an essence of it. Similarly the ultimate goal of this rarest of rare Human Birth is to strive for seeking the Divine Love of the Supreme Lord Shri Ram, the Essence of Supreme Self.
In another analogy Sant Tukaram Maharaj says that when a flirt stone is scraped on a little piece of iron, the friction creates a spark. A tiny spark is enough to flare using a tinder. Just like a Flint stone, a piece of iron and a tinder are only the means of striking a fire which is the ultimate objective, the rarest of rare Human Birth must be used as means to follow what is ultimately good for One's Spiritual Evolution.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says that just passing through life and learning are two different things. True wisdom cannot be gained by just passing through life, but by looking at experiences. If we can understand the mistakes we are repeating since time immemorial, may be then we can learn from them. For the learning makes One Wise ! "
