II श्रीराम जय राम जय जय राम II

मोहोराच्या संगे I
सुत नव्हे आगीजोगे II
नाही तरी त्याचे भक्ष I
काय सांगणे ते साक्ष II
स्वामीचिया अंगे I
रूप नव्हे कोणाजोगे II
तुका म्हणे खोड़ी I
देवमणी न देती दड़ी II

It is said that behind the chimera of material phenomenon, it is the Eternal Divine, the Supreme Essence of all things. It is the real inhabitant of this bodily mansion, the wearer of this mutable (liable to change) robe. In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says that One and only One Supreme Consciousness does not seek to bisect it's existence into two incompatible entities, the Self and Not Self. The Eternal Truth is that the Supreme Self alone exists which is Self Conscient. Life is a Self unfolding and a journey to Self Realisation is all about a progressive comprehension. The Self Realised Soul has become One with Supreme Consciousness and  hence becomes immortal. Illustrating with beautiful analogies Sant Tukaram Maharaj says
Mohra is a precious stone with a unique quality. A thread tied around it does not burn if thrown in fire. Just like the thread, the seeker of Supreme Self becomes immortal by becoming One with Supreme Consciousness.
The sense of Divinity surmounts everything earthly in the seeker and hence Sant Tukaram Maharaj says that One must consciously practice the Name Worship Of Supreme Lord Shri Ram while doing worldly duties, as it inculcates a sense of detachment from within which is so paramount on the journey to Self Realisation.
