It is said that " if you really want to do something, you will find the way, if you don't then you will find an excuse." Everything happens for the reason. This composition of Sant Tukaram Maharaj is all about this thought. He says,
The fire never calls for it's use on its own but One shivering with cold will find his way and seek its warmth, sitting by a crackling fire on a cold winter night.
Water doesn't implore the thirsty to drink it. The thirsty will find his way and quench his thirst.
A garment does not need to beg for its use. One will seek it as and when needed.
With these beautiful analogies Sant Tukaram Maharaj says that a seeker of Supreme Self is aware of what is needed to be done in this rarest or rare human birth so that he moves slowly but steadily to Self Realisation. His reason encourages him to the name Worship of Supreme Lord Shri Ram as it is the only way to become One with the Secondless.
In the end what's meant to be will always find its way.
