द्रव्य घेऊनियां कथा जरी करी I
तरी भंगो हरी देह माझा II
माझी कथा करा ऐसे म्हणे कोणा I
तरी नारायण जिव्हा जडो II
साह्य तूं झालासी काय उणे तुपे I
आणीक भूतांपे काय मागों II
तुका म्हणे सर्व सिद्धी तुझे पायी I
तूं माझा गोसावी पांडुरंगा II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, O'GOD, let me not live to see the day when I will take money for narrating Your story.
O'GOD Narayan, please make me speechless if I will ever ask others to praise me.
He says, I don't have to worry about "What will I eat" or "What will I drink" or "What will I wear for clothing", for GOD Panduranga is my provider. He is the source of life and He sustains it."
