"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, GOD as Truth, has been for him a Treasure unparalleled, for the man who has GOD for his Treasure has all things in One, forever.
Illustrating with beautiful analogies he says, futile it is to ask for the throne of GOD Indra, which is not perpetual, for even an ordinary man can attain it.
Futile it is to ask for the position of Dhruva, who is placed high in the sky by Supreme GOD Vishnu as a Pole Star, to stay fixed in that position for a complete Kalpa or period of 4.32 billion solar years.
Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, to ask for Heavenly Abode is futile because it is lost as soon as One's accumulated virtues exhaust, which he needs to accumulate again to be back in Heaven.
He says, fruitless is to ask for the boon of immortality when it is the Eternal Truth that the soul is immortal.
Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, rather than aspiring to go to Vaikuntha, the Abode of Supreme GOD Vishnu, he aspires to become One with the All Pervading Eternal that persists in all its splendour behind all the multiplicity of this manifold universe."
