माझ्या मुखावाटा न यो हे वचन I

व्हावे हे संतान द्रव्य कोणा II

फुकाचा विभाग पतन दुःखासी I

दोहींमुळे त्यासी तेचि साध्य II

नाईकावी निंदा स्तुती माझ्या काने I

सादर या मने होऊनियां II

तुका म्हणे देव असाध्य यामुळे I

आशामोहजाळे गुंतलियां II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, since progeny and material riches are both the root cause of sufferings, let my mouth not utter the words such as somebody should get money or somebody should have children.

My mind should insist that my ears do not hear the praises and ills.

He says, the illusion of worldly desires and their gratification makes GOD Realisation impossible."
