अरे तूंचि माझा आता I

मायबाप पंढरीनाथा II

घोकाया अक्षर I

मज नाही अधिकार II

सर्वभावे दीन I

तुका म्हणे यातिहीन II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, being born in the lower caste, the pride and arrogance has forsaken me. O'Lord Panduranga he says, my father is You and my mother is You. I am not entitled to study the Vedic Scriptures because I come from the lower caste."
