वृत्ती भूमी राज्य द्रव्य उपार्जिती I

जाणा त्या निश्चिती देव नाही II

भाडेकरी वाहे पाठीवरी भार I

अंतरीचे सार लाभ नाही II

देवपूजेवरी ठेवुनिया मन I

पाषाणा पाषाण  पूजी लोभे II

तुका म्हणे फळ चिंतिती आदरे I

लाघव हे चार शिंदळीचे II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, GOD Realisation will not come true for those who pursue it for material gains.

He says, a porter carrying loaded sack on his back doesn't get benefitted by what he is carrying in the sack.

He says, the One who worships GOD for fulfillment of desire is no less than a stone worshipping a stone image of GOD.

Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says,  the actions of those who do things to get some material  benefit out of it are no less than the luring gestures of a prostitute."
