आता होई माझे बुद्धीचा जनिता I

आवरावे चित्ता पांडुरंगा II

येथुनियां कोठे न वजे बाहेरी I

ऐसे मज धरी सत्ताबळे II

अनावर गुण बहुत जातीचे I

न बोलावे वाचे ऐसे करी II

तुका म्हणे हित कोणिये जातीचे I

तुज ठावे साचे  मायबापा II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, bestow upon me the noble virtues O'Lord Panduranga and save my mind from chasing the frivolous material pursuits.

Please help me O'Lord to let my mind remains firm at Your Feet and not wander.

He says, please see to it O'Lord that the frenzy of countless undesirables in me do not reflect in my words.

O' Lord Panduanga, he says, You know very well what is good for me."
