कथा करोनियां मोल ज्याचे घेती I

तेही दोघे जाती नरकामध्ये II

ब्रम्ह पूर्ण करा ब्रम्ह पूर्ण करा I

अखंड स्मरा रामराम II

मधुरवाणीच्या नका पडू भरी I

जाल यमपुरी भोगावया II

तुका म्हणे करी ब्रह्मांड ठेंगणे I

हात पसरी जिणे धिग त्याचे II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, those who take remuneration for doing Harikatha and those who offer remuneration for doing Haikatha, both are condemned.

He says, say "Ram Ram"incessantly and you will experience the Sublime Essence of world entire.

He says, don't fall prey to the enchanting words other than "Hari Naam', for they open the door to the repeated sufferings.

Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, realise that this world as an illusion, That which is not. What appears is not real and what is real never appears. There is no greater futility than taking the world as real and living the life only to chase the frivolous material pursuits."
