ठेवा जाणीव गुंडून I

येथे भावचि प्रमाण II

एका अनुसरल्या काज I

अवघे जाणे पंढरीराज II

तर्क तर्कवितर्कासि I

वाव न लगे सायासी II

तुका म्हणे भावे विण I

अवघा बोलती तो सीण II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, in devotion to Lord Hari paramount is not your scholarly knowledge but the feeling of intimacy in your love relationship with Him.

He says, the state of being in love with Lord Panduranga without any expectation of exchange or return is the quintessence of true devotion.

Summing up Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, waste not your energy on enquiring into "What" and "How" of devotion, for except the One Pointed Devotion all the other endeavors will only wear you out."
