तुका बस्तर बिचारा क्या करो रे I

अंतर भगवा न होय I

भीतर मैल कब मिटे रे I

मरे उपर धोय II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, merely donning Saffron robes is not enough to attain True Renunciation if One is still attached to the worldly glitter.

He says, the physical bathing can remove the outer dirt and odour of the body but it can never cleanse the inner filth."
