आमची गोसावी अयाचित वृत्ती I

करवी शिष्याहाती उपदेश II

दगडाची नाव आधीच ते जड I

ते काय दगड तारू जाणे II

तुका म्हणे वेष विटविलां त्यांनी I

सोंगसंपादणी करिती परि II

In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj condemns a hypocrite who while proclaims that he is content with whatever comes his way without demanding it, aspires to get it through his disciples. 

He says, there is no greater mockery of sainthood than pretending to be One, for the only way the boat made of stone can sail ahead is by "getting drowned".
