अवघीच तीर्थे घडली एकवेळां I

चंद्रभागा डोळां देखिलियां II

अवघीच पापें गेली दिगंतरी I

वैकुंठ पंढरी देखिलियां II

अवाघिया संतां एकवेळां भेटी I

पुंडलिक दृष्टी देखिलियां II

तुका म्हणे जन्मा आल्याचे सार्थक I

विठ्ठलचि एक देखिलियां II

"In this composition Sant Tukaram Maharaj says, bathing in the Sacred Waters of River Chandrabhaga is in itself no less than the merit earned by visiting of all the pilgrimages.

He says, One is absolved of all sins when  he visits Pandharpur, the earthly abode of Supreme Lord Hari.

He says, visiting the temple of Pundalik is alone equivalent to merit of dust at the Feet of myriad of the Enlightened Beings.

He says, nothing is more fulfilling and worthwhile than beholding the Divine Beauty of Lord Vitthal standing hands akimbo on a brick, for it is the crowning fruition of all endeavors."
